News about the Coronavirus (known as COVID-19) has been making the headlines. Human-to-human transmission of the new coronavirus has been verified.

While, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) continues to stress that risk is low for the general public, as a part of its response, the CDC is encouraging everyone to prepare in case the situation changes. The agency is currently updating guidance for childcare and K-12 settings around COVID-19, which will be reposted on the CDC website once it is finalized.
